Leopard (OS X 10.5) Screenshots?
While reading my RSS this morning I found this bomb on a obscure blog. The first (as far as i know) leopard screenshots!!
Full size are available at the site.
You can see that the finder has tabs (which I like), the GUI is also finally unified. On the second screenshot, a new eyes candy desktop switcher is featured. But the most interesting part is:
If you look at the web browser used, it’s IE and obviously not IE5.2 (the last version that was developed for Mac before the abadonned it) but most likely IE 7… for windows ! Which means or suggests that leopard can run windows natively (a la Parallels) without rebooting (a la bootcamp)! And that’s wonderful news for people who need to use both systems or check their web apps/design across the two platforms!
Whether this shots are fake or not remains to be prooved but that gave me enough to be really excited about our future OS version.

These look real to me… alot of what people are screaming fake about is exactly what I think makes it real. The Dock not warping for instance; why would it need to warp in a virtual desktop environment unless there were multiple docks. Also, rather than a virtual desk switcher, what if it were a Core OS switcher…
I’m going to say they are real and quite nice… can’t wait!

I see the old NeXtStep shelf appearing in the finder.
