When I first brought the mouse home, yeah, I was trying to hard to actually "press" the buttons, but over time I developed a system, so to speak: when I mouse, I place my entire hand over the top of the mouse (this is where I had trouble with the MX1000) and when I want to use the side buttons I use my ring-finger and my thumb to tilt the mouse ever-so-slightly counter clockwise, activate the buttons and tilt back. I don't even realise I'm doing it now.
Check out Steermouse for additional mouse button settings.
Aperture will be quite amazing once they work out a few bugs. On first impression I was really disappointed but I am forcing myself to use it and I am liking and getting used to it more everyday.

To each their own I guess but still Sean, don't you think that the side buttons are hard to press?
Aperture seems like a very powerfull app. I've been using it very superficially and I need to go more indeep before appreciating it to its fullest. It seems like a really cool app though.

The MM suits me perfect..... I purchased it after a return of my MX1000. My complaint with the MX was the fact that you needed very large hands or a severely elongated thumb to make use of the left-sided buttons. :)
I find the side buttons on the MM just right....... we're all different.

BTW.... what do you think of Aperture?
